Taxi Chamber

About Us and Data Sources

Taxi Chamber is an independent information site built to present the contact details of taxi stands in Türkiye and the official taximeter tariffs in one place, with their sources stated and kept up to date.

Our purpose

Taxi stand phone numbers and current taximeter tariffs are scattered across Türkiye: some sit in municipal announcements, some in PDF tariff files, and some are not online at all. This site gathers that information in one place, makes it searchable, and states plainly where every figure comes from. Seeing an approximate fare before the ride sets clear expectations for passenger and driver alike.

Who publishes this site?

Taxi Chamber is not a public authority, a professional chamber or a taxi operator, and it has no commercial ties to the stands listed here. The site is an independently run information project. It offers no taxi hailing, booking or transport service; to travel you need to contact the relevant stand directly.

How we compile the data

Stand records — stand name, district, address, landline, stand president and vehicle count — are compiled from open sources, and a source reference is kept in the dataset for every record. Records pass through a normalisation step before publication: phone numbers written as one run are split apart, duplicates are removed, and district names are standardised. Fields we cannot verify are left empty; we publish no estimated details, invented descriptions, service lists or rating scores. This is why the directory only covers provinces for which a verified dataset exists.

How often the data is updated

Taximeter tariffs are updated when the relevant municipality publishes its UKOME decision; for Istanbul we follow the fare tariff published by the metropolitan municipality's TUHIM department. Bridge, tunnel and motorway tolls are reviewed whenever the tariffs announced by KGM and the operating companies change. The stand list is revisited at least every three months and after every correction reported to us.

Liability note

Fare calculations on this site are estimates and are not binding. The applicable fare is the amount shown by the running taximeter; traffic, waiting time, route and tolls can change the result. Phone numbers and addresses may change over time, so we recommend confirming the details with the stand before you travel.

Tariff and toll sources

No verifiable source link has been added yet for the tariff figures of the following cities: Izmir, Antalya, Konya, Adana, Sanliurfa, Gaziantep. Their fare calculation pages display this notice in place of a source.

Correction policy

If you spot incorrect or outdated information, tell us. It is enough to send the link to the page, the correct information and, where possible, the source of that information. Reports are assessed; verified corrections are published and fields that cannot be verified are removed from the page. For requests concerning your personal data, please use the application route set out in the data protection notice.
